This is to formally to testify to the whole Chinese community in general and to the Chinese Leprosy Association in particular all our compassion for this difficult period that your cuuntry is going through because of this epidemic, the coronavirus, which is currently raging in your territory. The International Leprosy Association (ILA) assures you of its firm and unwavering support in the work to eradicate this disease. Considering that the entire world scientific community is at work, ILA remains convinced that a solution will be found very quickly. Furthermore, the International Leprosy Association (ILA) encourages you to continue with the preventive measures put in place to avoid the spread of the virus, which essentially involves wide and continuous media communication on the virus as well as on the precautions to be taken.
